Advertising Rates

Rates are based on ad size, layout, placement, and whether it requires design work. Quotes are given privately, with billing set on a month-to-month basis and using Pay Pal e-mail Invoices.

Advertising may be purchased in the form of monthly ad spots or as permanent Author Spotlight pages.

Base Monthly Rates:

WUAT Home Page and "New Reviews" Page:
Large Banner Ad: $10
Small Ad: $5

WUAT Tier 1 Pages:
Large Banner Ad: $5
Small Ad: $1

WUAT Tier 2 Pages:
Large Banner Ad, on two pages: $1
Small Ad, on four pages: $1

Large Ad placement on each additional Tier 1 page within the WUAT site: $1
Small Ad placement on two additional Tier 1 page within the WUAT site: $1
Any size Ad placement on five additional Tier 2 pages within the WUAT site: $1

Definition of Page Types:

"Tier 1" pages are those that are considered the core links within the site. As of 9/25/2006, they include pages linked by the navigation bar, except for the homepage and "New Reviews" page.

"Tier 2" pages include those linked from Tier 1 pages. For example, review look-ups by authors A-Z are all Tier 2 pages. Same for look-ups by title, genre, and so on.

Review pages at this time ARE NOT included in the advertising program.

Permanent Author Spotlight Pages

These pages will be set in the WUAT format similar to the reviewer bio pages. Content is largely up to the author. It can include a bio, photos (file size limits will apply), links to their titles and websites, links to other, favorite authors and titles, and so on. As long as it remains family-friendly, it can probably go up.

All content will go through and be approved by Wantz Upon a Time Book Reviews before posting.

The base fee for an Author Spotlight Page is $25. This includes initial set-up and a spot on the website linked from a main author index. Yearly renewal is $5 (to compensate for memory space on the server). Additional fees will apply for updates to tour/signing schedules, photos, book links to Amazon, etc.

These pages should not be confused with author interview pages. Interviews are free.

Prices are subject to change, depending on demand for ad space.

Advertising Content

Advertisements should be targeted to readers and/or writers, with no obscene or offensive material. Each ad must be approved by the owner of Wantz Upon A Time Book Reviews.
