About Christina
I'm a writer and artist, therefore I've developed a keen interest in design and branding for other writers and artists. All too often, authors I know have tried to create inviting websites using template services only to be unhappy with the results. My role is to bypass that step and create something fresh, unique to each person or brand. It's a competitive world, and I'm out there to help you stand out.
Creativity is my passion. Whether it is writing, art, music, or design, it comes from my heart. I can't remember a time when I didn't have a story or drawing idea in mind. In fact, I still have two stories I wrote and illustrated in second grade. My favorite was the one where the Superbowl Bears got kidnapped by aliens and had to escape! Serious stuff.
Now I have two wonderful children. "The Munchie" is my princess, and "The Dudeling" is my little guy. The Munchie (so named because she's always snacking yet skinny as a rail) has autism, but it doesn't keep her down. The Dudeling is her little brother and a take-charge kind of kid.
Then there are the cats. We have two, one of whom is a "tri-pawed." She might have a "disability," but you'd never know. Between the cats and kids... well, let's just say it's quite the ride!
I have a myriad of interests. Web and graphic design, writing fiction and playing guitar are my primary obsessions at this time. In the past, I: played hockey, rode horses, bowled, took a few Improv classes at Second City Chicago, and stuck my nose into a few other things besides.
One of those things was my foray into the publishing world as a book reviewer with this very website. Unfortunately, reviewing books doesn't pay the bills. I moved that over to a WordPress blog for the time being.
