A Wicked Pleasure

Warning: This title contains explicit material.

As a bass player for the girl-band Siren, Meghan Davies has it all: fame, wealth and happiness.  Well, maybe not everything. Meghan is dying.  There is nothing else the doctors can do, and she cannot stand the thought of more doctors and tests—enough already!  At least she was going out on top.

For years, he has watched her from afar; yearning for her, yet staying firmly in the background.  His only contact was the orchids he sent on concert nights, anonymously.  Romney Kearns loves Meghan, loves her enough to stay away and let her have a normal life with a husband and children, a family, something he could never give her.  As a vampire, Rom loves her enough to keep his distance so she can have her “happy” human life.

Now though, Rom knows through his vampire senses that Meghan is dying, that her time is quickly coming to an end.  At what will be her last concert, she finally meets her mysterious admirer and agrees to spend the evening with the enigmatic stranger.  What Meghan does not realize is that Rom intends to offer her something more than just one night together—an eternity.

A smooth and well-written paranormal romance makes NIGHT MUSIC a welcome addition to the “Beginnings Anthology” series.  Meghan is a heroine with heart, grit and spirit.  Although a modern vampire, Rom is still all alpha male.  Good characterization and clever pacing makes NIGHT MUSIC a wicked pleasure to enjoy reading.
