When Jay stumbles across a gruesome crime scene at the local shopping mall, his power drives him to bring JoBeth Montgomery back to life. Remarkably, she fully recovers.

Jo appears to have been attacked by "The Watcher," a serial killer who has plagued the community and avoided capture by Detective Paul Frances, Jay's brother. While Jo is able to provide valuable clues to her attacker's identity, it becomes clear that she and Jay are not safe.

In this thrilling romance, the reader is pulled through a suspenseful journey of love, trust, and danger. Reinke delivers detailed scenes filled with emotional impact, and the characters all grow in vital ways throughout the story.

This was a masterful work, which promises to leave the reader begging for the next installment. Definitely recommended for fans of paranormal romance.
