In Kresley Cole’s second installment to her “Immortals After Dark” series, she revisits an intricate world rife with preternatural creatures and tensions. Warring immortal factions inhabit today’s world, with few humans aware of dangers that lie just out of reach; and sometimes not even that far. Cole’s masterfully crafted world is more complete in her second novel than seen in some entire series from the genre. Paranormal fans will liken her talent to such popular authors such as Sherrilyn Kenyon, Lori Handeland, and Christine Feehan.

Cole’s name will certainly be a standard on the shelves of paranormal romance fans everywhere. In her world, anything can happen.
