Joelle Charbonneau-Blanco has enjoyed writing and studying literature all her life. She is a graduate of Millikin (BM) and DePaul (MM) Universities and now is an adjunct professor of Music at Elgin Community College. A member of Chicago-North Chapter of Romance Writers of America, Joelle edits the newsletter and has served as the Single Title Contest Coordinator. In addition to writing, Joelle is an active reader and performer in the Chicagoland area having acted and sung in theatres such as Drury Lane Oak Brook, Light Opera Works, the Symphony Center and many other companies. She had also worked as an acting teacher with Appletree theatre and enjoys well-crafted stories whether presented on the stage or told by the written word.
